India Smart Grid Forum organizes India Smart Utility Week from 12 March


India Smart Utility Week, an international conference and exhibition on smart utilities and smarter cities, is being organized by India Smart Grid Forum at New Delhi from 12 March to 16 March 2019.

The India Smart Grid Forum has been organizing its flagship annual event, India Smart Grid Week every year to bring together policy makers, regulators, investors, top-notch smart energy experts and researchers to discuss trends, share best practices and showcase technologies and products in smart grid and smart city domains. This year, gas distribution and water distribution utilities have been included, which are equally relevant in the Smart City domain. Due to this inclusion, India Smart Grid Week has been renamed as ‘India Smart Utility Week’, which will host will plenaries, interactive workshops, keynotes, and technical sessions.

The conference at the India Smart Utility Week will cover themes such as Energy Transition & Utility Transformation, Introduction of Smart Metering, Next Generation Technologies for Utility Transformation, Enabling Technologies in the Modern Smart Grid, Cyber Secure Energy Transition and Utility Transformation, etc.

The event also hosts a large exhibition of display stalls for all kinds of energy-related companies like smart meters, power distribution automation, gas-insulated substations, geographical information systems, smart homes, home energy management systems, home automation, microgrids, energy storage technologies, renewable energy resources, etc.

In addition, India Smart Grid Forum is hosting ISGF Innovation Awards as part of India Smart Utility Week 2019. These awards recognize organizations, projects and products from utilities and technology companies that have set a new benchmark in Smart Grid and Smart City Segments.
