Handcraft Studio Academy to felicitate artisans at MSME Handcrafters Excellence Awards

Bangalore’s renowned Handcraft Studio Academy is back with its annual Handmade Carnival beginning from 25 January 2024. To be hosted at Jayamahal Palace Hotel in the heart of Bengaluru city, the carnival brings together handcraft practitioners from all across the country.

Organised by Handcraft Studio Academy in association with Nalesa Wedding Planners, this year they are giving away ‘MSME Handcrafter’s Excellence Awards’ to outstanding handcrafters & artisans who have struggled to promote handcraft and handmade products in this era of digital technology.

Stretched over four days from 25 January to 28 January 2024, the Handmade Carnival has brought together some of the best trainers in handmade soap making to conduct workshops. Some of the well-known experts to conduct workshops are:

  • Kazumi Kanoshita from Aromatica Labo, Japan – Making Amino acid soaps, Shampoo and Conditioner Bars
  • Yousuf Bhai from Dubai – Perfume and incense making
  • Rajasthani Lac Bangles workshop by Hyder
  • Priya Jain
  • Aruna
  • Katuri Radha Manohari
  • Harini Shivakumar
  • Neetha Bhoopalam
  • Surya Raghunathan
  • Bharati Malnad
  • Neeta Bajaj

Apart from these workshops, there will be fun activities and handcraft competitions at the Handmade Carnival. The event will culminate with the MSME Handcrafter’s Excellence Awards function on 27 January 2024. Suitable artisans who have contributed towards the development of handicrafts and handmade products in India are requested to apply for these awards on this link.
