CII presents the first Agri Tech South 2018 in Hyderabad

The Confederation of Indian Industry’s CII Southern Region is organizing the maiden edition of CII Agri Tech South 2018, a 3-day exhibition and conference on agriculture technology and innovation from 9-11 February 2018. The Government of Telangana is the host state for the show, which is being held at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Hyderabad.

By organizing the Agri Tech South 2018 Conference on the theme “Smart and Sustainable Technologies for Better Tomorrow”, CII South aims to bring all the stakeholders in the agriculture sector in South India together and create business opportunities for the technology holders. The platform will also foster cross-pollination of new ideas and methodologies by introducing practical learning to agro-technology users.

Various sessions at the conference will cover topics such as: digital agriculture and new age start-ups in transforming Indian farms and farmers, empowering women agropreneurs, technology trends in breeding and pests and climate change resistant varieties, agriculture diagnostics focusing on soil and water, farm mechanization, post-harvest management, finance, insurance and marketing, and organic farming.

The Agri Tech South 2018 Exhibition would aim to create a single forum for the agri-community and showcase the improved products available to increase farm yield by bringing together agri-business enterprises, agro-machinery companies, progressive farmers, farmers societies; input suppliers; traders; retail chains, commodity exchanges, etc.
