The Pune International Centre (PIC), in association with the National Innovation Foundation and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, is organizing its 4th National Conference on Social Innovation (NCSI) on 17 November 2016 in Pune. The conference invites social innovators from the urban, rural and tribal domains this year.

Like every year, the NCSI conference will be attended by CSR heads of prestigious corporate companies and business incubators. Innovators such as Dr. Devi Shetty (Narayana Hrudayalaya), Dr. Abhay Bang (SEARCH), Dr. D.R. Mehta (Jaipur foot) and Dr. Rajendra Singh (Water conservation) have presented on the NCSI platform. The objective is to promote the cause of social innovation and create a platform to facilitate the collaboration between innovators and CSR initiatives.

The Pune International Centre is a think tank launched in 2011 and is headed by Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar as the President and Dr. Vijay Kelkar as the Vice-President. The institution works on diverse national and global issues through a range of programs. Since its launch, PIC has organized more than 100 quality sessions of lectures, round tables, conferences and film festivals.

A special Social Innovation Desk has been set up at PIC to assist on all matters regarding the NCSI conference. You may contact Ms. Namita Joshi at the Social Innovation Desk at si@puneinternationalcentre.org or you can reach her on 7722071004 / 020-65344477
