ICAR-NAARM invites agri-business startups to scale up through AGRI UDAAN

The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (ICAR-NAARM) has launched ‘AGRI UDAAN’ an accelerator for startups in Food & Agribusiness sectors. Startups in food and agribusiness aspiring to scale up their business to the national level are invited to participate in it.

AGRI UDAAN is a unique platform for scale-up stage innovators, entrepreneurs and startups in Food and Agribusiness sectors to showcase their innovations and to receive valuable inputs from mentors, incubators, R&D institutions, agribusiness industry and investors. This accelerator platform is managed by a-IDEA (Association for Innovation Development of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture), which is a Technology Business Incubator hosted by ICAR-NAARM in its Centre for Agri-Innovation in Hyderabad.

AGRI UDAAN aims to help entrepreneurs ideate, incubate and accelerate their innovative early-stage startups that are scalable to become competitive food and agri-business ventures through capacity building, mentoring, networking and advisory support. The main focus categories covered are:

Applications are invited from Food & Agribusiness startups that are in the scale-up stage and developing innovative solutions, full-time core team ready with a working prototype for customer validation and having initial market traction for the product/service.
