Youth for Sustainability India Alliance (YFSI) is organizing the “Celebrate Youth as Changemakers” program as part of its first anniversary celebrations on 26 November 2021. The program will have live musical performances, talks by keynote speakers, presentations on impact highlights of the Alliance, and experience sharing by Alliance members.
The YFSI Alliance brings together like-minded youth-oriented organizations focused on a national platform to help India achieve its targets under several sustainable development goals with the youth as the accelerator of change. The Alliance was formed on 5th December 2020, in the first year of the ‘Decade of Action 2020-30’ declared by the United Nations, on the occasion of International Volunteer Day.
The YFSI Alliance’s website showcases various partner organizations, their initiatives, resources, experts and blogs in relation to the topics of environmental awareness and action, targeting especially the youth of India as agents of change towards sustainability.
The members and partners of the YFSI Alliance stand for proactive leadership towards SDG 12 and 13, a spirit of collaboration over competitiveness, consensus building, a multi-stakeholder approach to meaningfully accelerate and scale up change in the infinite potential and resourcefulness of the youth.
The Youth for Sustainability India Alliance currently brings together around 48 organizations and continuously welcomes new members and partners focused on youth, UN Sustainable Development Goals 12 and 13 at the national level.
