CII & WBA to host Indian Bioenergy and Climate Change Forum 2022

The Indian Bioenergy and Climate Change Forum 2022 is being organized by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in association with the World Bioenergy Association (WBA). The international conference is scheduled to be hosted at the Hotel Rama International in Aurangabad, Maharashtra on 20 September 2022.

Various market players from the supply chains of biomass conversion to bioenergy will come together to discuss the various climate change initiatives. The event focuses on the potential biomass and biofuels have in the Indian market. This biomass is used for cooking in the form of biogas, and for transportation as biodiesel or bioethanol. Biomass already plays a crucial role in increasing the country’s renewable energy share, which is the very much need of the hour.

The Indian Bioenergy & Climate Change Forum aims to discuss and find out ways for deploying this renewable energy on a large scale. The current state of deployment of bioenergy technologies including solid biomass, liquid biofuels and biogas will be presented by leading experts from leading organizations including International Renewable Energy Agency, Clean Access Network, Bioenergy Europe and World Bioenergy Association.

Various leading entrepreneurs will dispense their experience in deploying cooking solutions in India involving biomass and renewable energy. The later part of the conference will be about other renewable energy resources such as solar, wind, biofuels, biogas, microgrids, e-vehicles, energy storage and other latest advancements in bioenergy technologies.
