Green Innovators invited to apply for Industrial Green Chemistry Awards 2019

Green ChemisTree Foundation is organizing the sixth Industrial Green Chemistry World Convention on 16-17 October 2019 at IIT-Bombay in Mumbai. As part of this convention, SERB-IGCW Industrial Green Chemistry Awards are being given to green innovators who have incorporated the principles of Green Chemistry in chemical designs and manufacturing practices; or have undertaken any initiative to prevent pollution.

The Industrial Green Chemistry World Convention was first launched in 2009, under the aegis of Prof. Paul Anastas and Dr. John Warner. The IGCW Convention series is India’s only dedicated platform for engaging senior chemical industry stakeholders including govt. bodies, research and academia institutes, industry associations, media, etc.

The organizer, Green ChemisTree Foundation is a not-for-profit organization with a vision to bring forth technical know-how about green chemistry and engineering applications among Industry professionals, Academician, Researchers, government officials, and students.

As part of this IGCW Convention, Industrial Green Chemistry Awards have been jointly instituted by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) in the Indian Department of Science & Technology and Green ChemisTree Foundation.

Nominations for Industrial Green Chemistry Awards 2019 are invited in the following categories:
• MNC, Large and Medium Scale Companies
• Small-Scale Industries
• Green Chemistry Start-ups
• Knowledge Community

The submitted case-studies will be sent to an eminent jury for the first round of evaluation. The top three shortlisted participants in each of these three categories will be announced by 15th September 2019 and will be invited to the convention with the complimentary booth at IGCW EXPO to showcase their work.

The last date for submitting applications has been extended to 8 August 2019. Interested participants can click here to apply.
