Manush Labs in partnership with Hindalco Industries Ltd., have invited green innovators and startups to participate in the Manush Labs Clean Technology Startup Challenge 2022. applicants are invited to re-imagine sustainable industrial practices in these two focus areas:
- Material science: Sustainable packaging material
- Solid waste utilization: Flue-gas desulphurization (FGD) process waste utilization
Selected startups and innovators will have an opportunity to start with a paid pilot and explore joint development opportunity in mutually agreed areas. They need to come up with innovations to replace Hindalco’s 5000 tons of plastic waste annually and reuse up to 700,000 tons of FGD process waste into useful products annually.
After successfully completing their pilot projects, the program offers selected startups a direct opportunity to sign commercial contracts with Hindalco Industries Ltd., which is one of the world’s largest aluminium producers. Aditya Birla Group Innovation Fund will facilitate startup engagement with other relevant companies in Hindalco’s parent, Aditya Birla Group. The selected startups will have the opportunity to receive potential funding from ABG Innovation Fund.
Similarly, there will be technology and product development support from Manush Labs’ in-house team, international network, and local partners at various stages of the program. Interested startups and innovators can click here to register before the deadline on 20th June 2022.
