Vprospurs and Amity University are jointly organizing ‘EcoThon – solutions for sustainability 2019’, a two-day event for promoting sustainable business practices in its campus in Noida, NCR on 1 and 2 March 2019.
This two-day conference and expo will give the common platform to more than 500 industry stakeholders; thought leaders, policymakers, business leaders, and key decision makers within the public and private sectors and discuss the key environmental issues and their solutions.
Waste management and climate change will be the two main tracks of discussion at the EcoThon 2019 event. Under the waste management track, various topics such as segregation of solid waste, plastics recycling, electronic waste, sustainable recycling methods, extended producer responsibility, waste-to-energy innovations will be covered.
Similarly, under the climate change track, eminent speakers will present the latest insights on climate change’s impact on India’s environment, the role of the private sector in fighting climate change, expansion of clean energy, water pollution and availability of safe drinking water.
Apart from these discussions, sustainable environmental solutions will be presented in the Innovations Showcase. Green innovators can exhibit their ideas in the Ecotechnovation Corner and get a chance to pitch their solutions to reputed mentors and investors in the Pitching Arena. EcoThon has partnered with Startup India Foundation, KIIT Technology Business Incubator and Go Massive Incubator to bring together these reputed mentors and investors in the Pitching Arena.
