NASSCOM Foundation is back with its annual NASSCOM Social Innovation Forum (NSIF), which is a ‘Tech 4 Good’ platform that aims to address critical gaps in development through technology-led social innovations. For its tenth edition, NSIF has invited applications from a diverse range of social innovators working in NGOs, social enterprises and start-ups.
Instituted in 2008, the NASSCOM Social Innovation Forum program identifies and supports, innovative Information & Communications Technology (ICT) projects and solutions that have the potential to address critical gaps in key developmental areas and contribute to inclusive growth. Through the support from its donor partner – Mphasis, NASSCOM Foundation will award catalytic grants worth INR10 lakhs to each of the most innovative social solutions that can create radical social impact in areas of financial inclusion, healthcare, environment, education and accessibility.
The projects will also be provided with a 12 month support to scale mentoring by experts in the industry as well as access to NASSCOM Foundation’s network of Tech 4 Good leaders in the country. NSIF aims to drive CSR capital to encourage and scale up social innovations across relevant themes in the country. The last date for submitting applications is 15 November 2017.
Once the applications are received, they will undergo a carefully designed three-stage, shortlisting process with jury members consisting of the leaders from across industries. The winners will be announced and felicitated at the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum in March 2018.
