IIT Alumni organize SEE4Water Conference to discuss water crisis

Social Entrepreneurship and Enterprises (SEE), a voluntary initiative by alumni of IIT Kanpur, is organizing “See Water: Act Or Perish!” Conference on water crisis on 28 April 2018 at IIM Bangalore. The SEE4Water conference will address various issues related to water conservation, water recycling, water pollution, lake revival, etc.

The event is supported by alumni of various premier institutes such as IIT Kharagpur, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. The SEE4Water conference has invited a panel of experts, entrepreneurs and thought leaders to discuss solutions for the water crisis in India. Some of the eminent experts are: Tushar Girinath, Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board; Dr. Rajendra Poddar, Water & Land Management Institute; Vishwanath S, Biome Environmental Trust; Sudesh Menon, Waterlife; A. R. Shivakumar, Karnataka State Council for Science & Technology; Ashok Das, SunMoksha; Dr. Shweta Tripathi, Enzen Global; Dr. Padma Venkat, The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology.

Apart from expert presentations, innovation showcases, panel discussions have been arranged on various topics such as – drinking water treatment & water conservation, waste water treatment & recycling, water preservation, rainwater harvesting and lake rejuvenation.
