Innovative Change Collaborative Services Pvt Ltd (ICCSPL) has unveiled the Green Business Challenge 2017, a new competition for innovative green ideas that address energy and agricultural challenges focusing on the East and the Northeast region of India. Covering the two broad themes of ‘clean energy’ and ‘agribusiness’, the competition aims to create a platform for fostering entrepreneurs startups with innovative ideas.
The Clean Energy Challenge is open to both for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations across India. Meanwhile, the Agribusiness Challenge is open to early agriculture-based ventures that are actively operating in the Eastern and North Eastern regions of the country. ICCSPL also encourages students to put forth business ideas into practice in a collaborative environment where they would be supported further by mentors and incubation support for the selected entrepreneurs/NGOs.
In order to promote the Green Business Challenge, ICCSPL intends to conduct roadshows across the targeted states in the Eastern and North Eastern India for finding the best entrepreneurial brains for the. Interested participants need to fill up the business proposal application form on their website and submit it before 31 December 2017.
Applications would then be screened and shortlisted applicants will get an opportunity to pitch their propositions in front of a seasoned Jury in February 2018 at New Delhi. Consequently, the best proposals will be rewarded with cash prizes, besides a tailor-made incubation support.
